Description: Myself and a good friend Mark, have finally set up the business. We have over 10 years experience between us and we are both fully insured. We both still work full time but have started to build LiveWire in our spare time. Our services include domestic household and commercial electrics. We have a simple price structure, which is 100% transparent. There are no hidden extras or nasty surprises. Our labour is charged hourly with a minimum charge of 1 hour. With most jobs we will first arrange a visit to provide a free quote for the work. This won’t cost you a penny and will enable us to estimate how long the work will take and give you an accurate price up front. Labour is charged at the following rates: 1st hour = £30 Each hour after that = £25 per hour (charged in ½ hour increments) Half day rate (4 hours) = £87 Full day rate (8 hours) = £175 All parts and materials supplied by us will be charged at cost plus 10% Typical Cost For: New Fuseboard - £399 inc labour and testing. Testing Rates: House/Flat (1-2 bedrooms) - £130* House/Flat (3-4 bedrooms) - £155* *Testing prices are based on properties having non-electric heating systems and no more than 8 circuits in total. For properties with electric heating, add approx. £80. For properties with more than 8 circuits, add £15 per circuit. For smaller jobs such as putting up a light fitting or changing lamps, a quote is not normally necessary. These jobs typically don’t take much time and labour costs are charged as above. For example, if we came out to install a light fitting and change a few socket fronts/switches or similar and it took our engineer an hour and a half, you would pay: £42.50 plus materials for instance £15.00 Total cost = £57.50 If you have any further queries please get in contact and we will be happy to help.
